Jason's birthday/Girls night out...fun, fun, fun!!!!!

Hello everyone...lots to report here...
Has been very eventful around here the last couple of days...
Jason, Makayla, and I celebrated Jason's 27th birthday on Sunday with a beautiful trip up to Flagstaff! We had a great time, we went to the market in downtown flagstaff, walked all around the city, and had a great lunch at this cute little Irish pub, took Kayla swimming at the beautiful Lake Mary(which she thouroughly enjoyed). I was so impressed with Flagstaff, it is such a cute, quaint little town, very dog friendly which Jason and I really enjoyed. We took Makayla everywhere with us, into the stores, out to lunch, so cool! Then it was back home...were Jason got a pretty nasty little flu bug, which he quickly recovered from...Thank God!!
I'm proud to announce that our first annual Girls Date Night was a huge success too!!!! Thanks to everyone who came out, and those of you who couldn't make it this time, no worries...there will be many more. We started the night off with some amazing dinner at Ra(cute sushi place), then saw our much awaited movie-My Sister's Keeper...which I was personally alittle disappointed with. The movie doesn't end like the book did...but it was still enjoyable to be hanging out with the girls!! So here are some pictures from the latest and greatest going on around here. Enjoy...

Jess and Aunt DD enjoying some delicious sushi...it was so fun to order a bunch of different rolls and pass them around for everyone to enjoy/experience...some were alittle different(soft shell crab, raw tuna, etc.), but everyone was a good sport and tried them all!!!Then off to our movie date...As I'm sure you all can imagine, this was the highlight of our weekend for Makayla. All she needs is her tennis ball and she is one happy little puppy!

The three of us in Downtown Flagstaff...Jason and I really enjoyed our little day trip, we are trying to plan a weekend trip down here in the near future. It is so much cooler here that it is in Phoenix, it was great to get out of the heat for the day!
