Ok so here is the first batch of pictures of our wonderful vacation to Alaska. These are the pictures that were on my camera, but as many of you know our dear friend Cheryl who is quite the photographer has a whole bunch more that I haven't even seen yet...so more to come later! I cant express enough how much fun Jason and I had...hope you guys enjoy:)

Obviously my brother B.J. knows how to get this party started! We had the privilege of being in Alaska the same time as my brother and sister in law. Lots of fun...wish we could have stayed longer!!!!

Camping just wouldn't be camping without some of mom's famous blackened salmon!!! No one cooks it like momma does!!! This is the first thing that Jason and I ask for when we get to camp, thanks mom...Ur amazing!!!

More fishing...

This is one of many cherished connections/memories that my mom and I share...my parents did a great job of teaching all of us the many joys of the outdoors, and one of my favorites obviously is fishing!! Thanks mom and dad...this is truly our oasis!!!

It just wouldn't be the same without our dearest friend Cheryl right there beside us on the river. She plays a huge role in all of our fishing adventures...it is such a pleasure to be around her. Thanks for all the good times Cheryl, you are such an amazing person! We love you!

As many of you may know Jason successfully completed his Commercial Drivers Licence testing while we were there, this was a huge accomplishment for Jason and something that he has been wanted to complete for some time now...way to go babe! He is also endorsed to drive tankers, doubles, and triples This is us leaving the DMV with his new licence in hand!!!

Artic Roadrunner totem pole...these are pretty cool cultural bits in Alaska...each one tells a story...pretty neat!

Of course we had to do plenty of riding!!!! Joel, and his new wife Amber, me and Jason and Jason's Dad. Lots of fun!!!!!

GLW ENTERPRISE...company picture! This is the company that Jason worked for before we moved to AZ, and is the company that Joel currently works for. Jason was with GLW for many years, really a great company...was so nice to see them all back together again(including some new additions to the crew)
